This is the scenario for my Questionnaire design. I have been commissioned to look at the Greymouth High School website and the principal wants me to find out about the kinds of people that are currently visiting the school website and their satisfaction with the information available. The satisfaction might look different for different people that visit the school website.
The principal of my school has asked me to design a questionnaire that would enable the school to find out what the students and other people think about the usability and usefulness of the school website.
I am hoping to survey all students, staff, parents, and community members, they are all apart of my target population.
I plan to ask questions that will provide sufficient information for the "who visits the website" aspect, this will include their relationship to the school, their gender, etc. If the person clicks on 'student' they will be taken to a section that asks them in what year they are. The satisfaction section will be split in two. The first is for the students and includes more specific information about the academic side and the second is for everyone else (including students). The second part includes their overall satisfaction with the look of the website and the information they found during their last visit.
