Final Questionnaire - AS91263

I have now completed the final version of my questionnaire based on feedback that I received from my pilot survey results. I adjusted the purpose of my questionnaire so that it is more specific and the rest of the survey now meets the purpose.

The purpose of my survey is to find out the type of users that frequent the website and if the information found on the website is sufficient and useful. In addition to this, the survey also focuses on student interaction to include their voice on the usefulness of the information found on the website.

Questions 1-4 deal with the demographics of the person taking the survey, thus taking care of the "who frequents the website" aspect of the survey. There were some changes made from the draft compared to the final version. I removed the income and where they lived questions. Neither was necessary for relation to the purpose of the questionnaire.

Questions 5-9 deal with student interaction on the website. This section of the survey is only available to students as it directly brings them to this section if they say that they are a student in the demographics session. This section completes the part of the purpose that is directed towards student interaction and satisfaction. Compared to my first drive this section looks pretty similar compared to the final version, the only thing that I changed was fixing up the subjects section so that it made more sense.

Questions 10-15 are there for the overall satisfaction with the website's visual look and satisfaction towards the information found on the website. This is the first part of the overall purpose of the survey and the questions meet this purpose. I changed the open questions in this section from required to optional after feedback from my pilot survey.

This survey is aimed at different members of the community who have used the website. For students, the survey can be accessed through email lists that the school has that contains every student's email address. For parents or caregivers, the survey can be accessed through using Kamar, meaning that the school can send the survey right into their email inbox. For anyone else, the survey can be added to the school's website and they can access it from there. This makes for easy access so that every one that is affected by the purpose of the survey.

All choices I made were made while thinking of the purpose and audience of my questionnaire. I made choices regarding the ease of taking my survey, taking out unnecessary required questions, and tightening up my purpose so that it included students.

In retrospect, I should have included more questions that specify their satisfaction with the information found on the website. By doing this, I would have completely followed and finished the purpose of my questionnaire.
